Welcome!  That is a very, very nice K1.  IMO, the garish paint and graphics on the blue and (especially) red models is the reason why they are known to be so ugly.   Yours is very tastefully understated.

Welcome Neon - yes, a very good looking K1 you have there.

I must admit, I had negative thoughts about the more highly coloured K1's - until I saw the Irish Eccentric K1 Kontingent up close and that changed my mind completely!

How does a K1 handle the twist and turns of your mountain roads?

Hi Paul, on the road it is absolutly no problem with the twist and turns.
Maybe its for me easier than for one other who don't have the mountain expirience.

But if you stand the radius to do a u-turn is s..t..... New member from Lucerne/Switzerland 652573 New member from Lucerne/Switzerland 797640

It's nice to have you with us.  You have a rare and very beautiful bike!  You obviously took great care to bring the K-1 back to an outstanding finish.

A warm welcome to "Neo".

I had to ask first because I thought I recognized the bike.  Neo and another Flyingbrick member assisted me when in Europe the other year.  Some K75 maintenance was required and Will sent out a request for assistance and the folks in Luzern stepped forward.

So I am eternally grateful as I was a long way from home.

The "workshop" was an Aladdin's Cave of K bikes of all models and Neo's (not his real name) K1 was immaculate to say the least.

We also visited the opening of the Ace Cafe Luzern where I spotted this K chair.
