Hi,

I am trying to remove the plate behind the Hall sensor plate ( the one with the timing marks on it ) and my 3rd party manual seems to skip that detail.

There is a large bolt holding it in place and I would guess it's on a taper. Having removed the bold I tired a bit of tapping but it was not coming off the taper.

Is there some trick or tool that needs to be inserted? What is the proper way to remove this.

Thanks.

No need to remove the M10 bolt, ....that is for the camshaftchain sprocket.

The small plate is secured with three M4 screws (which also secures the hall
sensor rotor) ....it's a thight fit (and maybe some corrosion) and can be
stubborn to remove.....try to heat it a bit with a hot air gun.

OK, now I have a clearer idea of the parts, I'll have another look.

Thanks for the replies.
