Sidecar Paul made a new button from aluminium. If you have access to a small lathe then you can do it.

Checkout the How To section in Technical. repair. troubleshooting, aka this section.
The Kaptain Holister has done one.

Just installed new green starter button on my '85 K100RT.  Easy to install. Works perfectly.  Comes with 3 buttons and a new spring.  Photo step by step. $12 shipped to Michigan.  Couldn't be happier.  Solved the problem.

BlaKey, look at the top right corner of the web site home page and there is a little Union Jack flag to change the site to English.

Cheers

Thanks Gaz...I saw that, but I still had trouble... Embarassed  Rolling Eyes scratch

I'll flick the guy an email and get it sorted. I'll buy a few to use as spares, gifts, Christmas presents etcetera.
