I am not too bad thanks for asking, I scored well off gumtree, a JPS seat , he asked if I wanted it wrapped in bubble wrap or a box, I think this is a rare part even comes with the key, so hoping to find someone who knows how valuable I consider this, hoping to get a ride in soon, I spend more time in hospital than out but things are looking up. Here's hoping.

Rawdon lives about 2 1/2 hours south of Perth, down past Bunbury, but he gets up to Perth on a semi-regular basis.

Good catch Gary can't be many of those JPS seats around.
I thought Rawdon was a Perthite but he's a Bunburyian hey. Laughing

Hi Gary - sorry to have missed your thread till now. Please let me know if I can still be off assistance?
We have family and friends in perth (we were based in Darlington perth for two years) so I am there regularly. I'm committed to being there again on 1st June if not this coming week end. Wouldn't mind the chance to study this J PS thing close up. This would more than compensate  for time spent!
Hope we get to meet up before too long - one way or another.
Till then - look after yourself....

Thank you rawdon, it's on its way, he says it's packed well, when it arrives I will put some pics up, when it arrives I will contact him and see if I can find more about it, he had no other K parts, I have tryed to find more from google, so far I found 100 to 150 produced but I also read that 3 JPS K's were made in '84 as a promotion for the BMW touring car,  a very interesting part. Cheers Gary

seat should arrive this week, I know it has a JPS logo on it but, after looking around found out it is a motoco single seat from Japan, I actually found a post here on the forum. But it's black same as my K and all up $187, they still make them in Japan $1199 plus delivery, I am happy with that. Will put pics up when it arrives.

Any members in Perth WA Img_1013so after winning the challenge undoing the rope, I did not want to cut the telecom rope it comes in handy. The tailpiece was snugly wrapped in a quilt, I knew it came with a key, I was going to say please don't leave the key in the lock, maybe tape it under the seat, well, it was tied to a piece of string so it would not get lost, good idea? No it sat on the corner of the tailpiece but that's ok as I am told it's color is not black, so I can fix the few marks and paint it, and it also came with the K100 badge that I don't have on my K. Can't wait to fit it, cheers
