Gotta 87K100LT,bought it new in 87 and I have 137,000 miles on it,she sat for 5 years(life got in the way, divorse, father died, list goes on)anyway I started working on it and actually got it running again,i did all the usual stuff,,all new fluids, fuel filter and stuff,,but just as I was getting ready to retag it,,she stopped running,,fuel pump quiet,,damn!!!!Yep the rubber boot disintegrated and turned to goo..now the question.bobs bmw has a kit that has everything, pump, rubber boot, nylon ring, hoses clamps, filter,,mesh filter for the pump for 358.95, beemer boneyard has the same kit I think for 282.95.i have cleaned the fuel system and tank,,im just trying to decide which one, cause I have read of some here who have had a new rubber boot turn to goo again pretty quick..i do have a gas station near me that has no ethanol gas and I plan on using it regularly but when I'm traveling that wont be an option..any advise?

I'd buy the damper and filter screen from either and get two pumps from Ali. I'm waiting for two at the moment. If you look at the link they seem to be the manufacturer. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/for-BMW-K-Ducati-K75-K100-K1100-K1-1983-1997-BOSCH-16121461576-16121460452-0580-463-999/32784411992.html?
$28.85 US Shipped.
I'm currently running a $13.33 Au rear master cylinder I also bought two and have pulled it apart and can find no problems with it's manufacture. And I like the feel of it better than OEM. Once I receive the fuel pump I'll do a performance comparison. There is nothing wrong with my 25 year old OEM one, and it will be kept as a spare.
Regards Martin.

I've been using one of those Chinese pumps in my RT for a few thousand kms so far without any issues. I bought it quite a bit cheaper than that tho.
Rubber damper and plastic mount can be had from Motorworks (UK) at an ok price. EME (States) also carry them as do Motobins (UK). Postage out of the States is fairly expensive. I buy most of my gear from Motorworks.
Hose ($15) and clips ($10) and filter ($12) can be bought from your local automotive parts shop

Fuel filters that suit K100
Ryco Z200
SupaCheap SCF200
Valvoline VF6
Fram G4777
