WelKome to the Knuthaus.
You're in good company in the Emerald Isle the Eccentrics are a great bunch but they will lead you astray.

I'm afraid, there's no question of "if" it's just a matter of when and how far astray they lead you. Olaf is probably circling Wexford as we speak....

Enjoy the bike and the kompany.

Welcome and glad to see you made it along.

There is good craic here all right. I don't need to circle Wexford, as the saying goes Wexford is well covered. By some very nice K1s. And 88 is headed over that way this weekend. Something to do with Eccentrics camping this Friday at Nore Valley Park. Bjorn, Olaf and Will are as Irish as you get.

There is a link on the Portal page marked what to do if you have just bought a K bike.

Also worth looking on eBay for a Clymer manual, its thick but good and very useful. Don't be afraid though to ask questions, some tricky jobs have been explored and simpler ways of doing them identified. Lots of focus on prevention too. Some BMW parts can be expensive and alternatives found, like fuel pumps for about £50 plus ParcelMotel. Clutch friction plate I paid £62, but some parts are recommended to get the BMW ones and often at little or no price premium.

By the way also planning to go to Nore Valley Park August weekend.
