Link to a short vid of some bloke on his red Ducati struggling up the 8kms of Macquarie Pass. But there's the Robertson Pie Shop for a much-needed break after the climb!

Our Robertson-resident forum member reckons the pies are better in other shops more in the town.  Very Happy

Other than that, I agree with the description of the ride. Fun, but care required.

Best done mid week, some of those boy racers are dead set out to kill themselves on the weekend.
It is a great road if you can get a truck-free run. Ask Charlie.
Kinda makes you want to get out on the bike though. Thanks Mate.

And a good bloke he is too! When Matt is not riding his old Ducati he can often been seen on BMW R80GS. He rides with me occasionally in an Airheads group.

Great ride up Macquarie then back down into Kangaroo Valley. Lovely roads and scenery.
