Ed is running his event again this year in support of the cancer Council on 27/5/18.

Is there any interest in joining us for an overnighter at the Grey Gums cafe on sat night 26/5/18?

Al

Could be a goer Al.

Saturday 26th May is Rosskko's anniversary and the Grey Gums is not that far from Bathurst. There may be others interested on that basis as well.

Cheers

Saturday 26th I board ferry for France on another K venture.

The Skroll will travel with me [on the K1100LT this time] and is suitably signed by Rosskko. Its on its way to France for yet another meeting with Crazy Frog and an onward trip across the Atlantic.

I may be on the high seas for this but a drop will be quietly enjoyed on board to remember Rosskko here. The Eccentrics never got to meet up [apart from Born Again Eccentric] but it was a huge loss for us too because we had expected to have a nice K meet up with them both here in Ireland. It was to be their 30th wedding anniversary trip. It was also just around the time of my 60th birthday for which certain plans had been made....

Sometime in our time at St Leon when CF is with us we will have a Rosskko moment with the sKroll at the river.

Warren, unfortunately I cannot hang around Sunday morning because of a lunch time commitment at home. This means we'll be getting away about 9 ish. Petty we can't catch up. Cheers Tom

I've been running the NGK Iridiums in all of my bikes for several years now and haven't had problems.  I guess my expectations of oodles and oodles of miles from them was unrealistic.

I've seen riders claim more HP on the butt dyno and better mileage using iridium plugs but I haven't experienced that and I think that in the end with any decent spark plug in good condition that a spark is just a spark and an iridium-induced spark will not make your gas burn with any better compression or more efficiently.

Shame to miss you Warren , was a good day out again . Approx 500 riders passing through on the day . Plenty of Support for the cause , which included offering a chance for Kim ( Grey Gum Cafe owner) to relax and let her hair down a bit .

Managed to grab some time for a chat and toast to our mate Rosskko , sharing a nip of the old Jaegermeister to help warm the innards . Reports on sunday morning suggested a mild 1 degree overnight. The open fires were a welcome place in the morning .

Tom , Ed and Gaz , Al and Marie not in view . Thanks to BMWTCNSW member Patrick Heselwood for grabbing this pic .
