Brrrrr 35°C here today so not much getting done outside either.  Western suburbs of Sydney went to 47°C yesterday, the plastic on the Hondas was sagging.

I sipped on a bottle of Bundaberg Wooded Oak Special rum type stuff, I was saving up to share with Tackler. Of course, that never happened. Contents are gone and so is two thirds of what little brain I had left!

It does make one crazy!!!

Happy New Year, everybody on this truly wonderful forum!!

What's everyone complaining about? We had 35 degrees yesterday too. But the darn C morphs into an F when it goes North. Is there a fix for that?

Get over the Deg C Deg F thing once and for all and just measure everything in Kelvin. I never did understand the Fahrenheit
scale anyway and still struggle to know whether we are supposed to talk in Centigrade or Celsius (which both seem to have exactly the same scale).

So if K100 = cool......then 100K = cold (seriously cold!)
& K1100 = hot.....then 1100K = hot (seriously hot!!)

Ideal riding range 285 - 300K....which also, probably, equals the distance in k(m) between loffee stops.

Easy and designed with the K rider in mind.

OK, let it be clear if we are talking in degrees Kelvin:

°K75 ---> cool
°K100 --> Perfect
°K1100 -> too hot

I have heard that the Fahrenheit scale came about by making 0°F the temperature of the coldest cellar in Paris and 100°F the melting point of butter. Now how true this is I don't know but it sounds silly enough to be right.

Cold white wine and melting buttered French toasts. My best!
What about Cheese Rick?

I like the weather in Seattle. Just perfect for our Ks.

Unfortunately, that's not true.  This YT video will tell the story (P.S. Veritasium is a great channel):

This year is a crazy one. Yesterday was + 14 degrees and today -4.
No snow on the ground which is a 75 years record here on the Canadian East cost.
Too bad... With the swing of temperature they have to salt the road and the bikes have to stay in the shed.
Maybe the denying of climate change by an "influential" neighbor is after all working.  boring day at home.... 44271
