Can anyone tell me how to fit a throttle screw to a 1985 K100RS. It is the one with the plastic tip and spring to be used as cruise control. I have read on the forum that it is supposed to screw into the bottom of the throttle however I can not find anywhere for it to go! Does anyone have any pics of where it goes?

Cheers
Macca

Not all models have this screw. It seems that only the earlier K100 had it.

Some of the grip parts did not have a provision for that screw, some others have it and the hole is plugged of with an opaque plug and some had it fitted. My bike from '84 hasn't got it.

I fitted a throttle screw to my '89 K100LT. There was a star head blanking screw on the underside of the throttle housing just inboard of the twistgrip.
Remove it and the throttle screw replaces it.
If you still have any problems let me know and I can send you a photo of it.
Its a handy modification and cheap!
