Hello,

Receiving my new K100 tonight - pretty sure I'll stumble across all sorts of stuff I might need you guys to help me with:) Just finishing overhauling a BMW R80 and ready for a new challenge.

Hey guys,
Not sure if to post this here - but to reply to Dai, i have a few plans.

Firstly get to know the bike - just started it this morning for the first time. Instant start.
However there's a strange hissing noise and a knocking/thumbing sound. Hmm. Red triangle didn't go out. I need to understand alle these "high tech" things, compared to my 77 R80.

I think I'll get to ordering new fluids and new filters and replace. Anything else you could recommend? I'll check the brakes as well.
Bike has 156000 km on it.

Have a great weekend!
