I see that the Neotec has gone up, a lot. Several years ago I sold them in a dealership for around US$400. Now the Neotec II version is retailing for US$699. XE.com/ucc says £600 is about US$767. So, yeah, more over there than it should be, or needs to be.
I'm out of the motorbike biz now. When I was still in I added to my collection on the vitals and anticipated my tyre and sundries needs for a year or two. When I get hit with the reality of retail pricing in the future it will be a great stonking whack on the head wake up call. To harden up for it I just go home every year or so and pay Aussie prices.
On that other thing you harf mention, recent history has clearly shown that "we" don't always understand what we are getting when we vote against our best interests. But that's another continent away from Europe and a tragic tale in itself.
I recall a headline from a major UK newspaper back in 2004 when Shrub was re-elected. It read "How can 42 million people be so stupid?"
I'll go into my corner and be quiet, mouthbreath and drool now.
