Hello All

I have been having trouble with trying to get my rear main seal  / output shaft seal to stop leaking

I believe that it may have something to do with the stop disk/ thrust washer  and how it passes through the seal

Item number  10

11 21 1 460 873 STOP DISK - 1MM
or

 11 21 1 461 813 STOP DISK - 1,25MM
Is this item required  ?

A K100 like yours has one; the K75 doesn't have one. I suggest you keep it in the assembly. If it's damaged, measure its thickness and replace it with an OEM washer/stop disk of the same thickness.

What is that a strand of material visible in the lower part of the second image?
