My K1100LT is leaking oil from the plug that gives access to the timing chain tension mechanism.  The plug is fairly large (20mm ?) but it threads into aluminum.  What is a reasonable torque for that plug? TIA

Thanks Laitch.  cheers  40 Nm and a new seal ring it shall be.  I hope this takes care of the leak, as pulling the plastic off to get at it grows old very quickly.
