Due to old father time starting to catch up with me I am now in a need of a more up position, but, I don't want to loose all of he RS look! So will these swap on to her without the need to swap cables and lines etc?

I just picked up a fabulous K100RS. Same issue which kept me off them forever and a day.

I also got C bars.......non BMW ones usually are not correct diameter and trouble.

C bars apparently fit with just a different ignition impact pad...

Looks like those will work but you may need to swiitch to a square dash pad:

That looks nice.....I have one of those....

Check the bar diameter, just because it says 22mm..........worked on a project that called up for 6mm panels....sure we can supply these no problem.....so a US company delivered a few thousand of them.....guys on site.......'these don't fit'........yes they should........no they don't........now some bean counter knows that 1/4" is bigger than 6mm because every one of them had to be .....

Olaf, one of the reasons these stuck out was the same site sells 22.2 mm bars (amongst others) so kind of thought that they maybe really 22mm, but yeah, I see your point.

My RS has a similar pad on it with the RS bars......but I am reliably told I need a different one for the C bars. I have all the bits but lack time to sort them.

You can run the square pad with any bars.  The other pad only works with S/RS bars unless you hack it up.

22.2mm = 7/8", so yeah, the British still rule the motorcycle world. Sort of. How-ev-er... anything built to fit 7/8" bars is too big for the BMW, but a strip of electrical tape goes a long way to fixing that problem Very Happy

One trick I use if fitting 7/8" 'bars is to run a brake wheel cylinder hone gently through both perch mounts to widen them a smidgen -  assuming you're always gunna use those handlebars with the modded perches...

A couple of years ago when I set my K1100 up as a naked bike I found I wanted a little more forward lean than I could get with the LT bars. Eventually purchased a set of aftermarket bars from Munich Motorcycles here in Oz who are a specialist BMW parts supplier of many years standing.

They guaranteed that the bars were 22mm. Well!!! when fitted I could not get the perches on - not happy. Munich insisted that they were 22mm and I didn't want to ream the controls so I linished about 20mm of the right hand end, just enough to remove the powder coating and carefully measured again.

So the bars were 22mm after all + powder coat thickness.

All went together well after powder coating was removed from under the grips and controls.

I must admit I never considered the powder coating but I suppose 0.2 of a mm would be about right.

However, just before I hit the pay button I have a sudden thought, I have the original heated grips so will this make a difference or will the grips still fit OK?

The grips, whether heated or not, are gunna slide on ok. It's the metal bits that disagree with your efforts.

I've only seen Tommaselli bars measure 22.2 mm on tables that have been supplied by distributors. You'll be doing a fair amount of precise sanding to enable fitment of your moto's controls. If the seller won't send a photo of a micrometer or caliper verifying 22.0 mm, keep looking. Flanders makes 22.0mm. Maybe one of their models will suit you.
