Hi

I’m thinking of repainting my motorcycle and would like clarification regarding the paint scheme.
My bike is a 1984 K100.
There is a sticker under the seat, Colour code 575.
My bike is red. That’s all I know about the bike’s pInt scheme.

Regards

Gabriel

Phil Hawksley has all you need. Most paint suppliers can mix to the code and name. I use PPG which is Dulux

575 is not the paint code - it's the paint scheme.

For example, Marrakesh red bikes have paint scheme codes of 643 or 658 but the color code for the paint is 222.

From the BM bikes reds page 575 has a paint code of 031 or 533.

Failing that find a paint shop that has the PPG paint matching computer and take them a sample of the paint that has not faded and they'll be able to match it.
