I just got around to removing the final drive off my 88 k100lt (103.000 km), and now I need some advice. How bad are these?

Also, I've been looking into replacement options.. motobin has a weldon option for the drive shaft, does something like that exist for the final drive too?

Hi it is difficult to say from the photos,may i suggest that you clean them until they are SPOTLESS and then fit together and check for Lash in the fit.At this milage excessive wear is unlikely.Following the dry fit, grease and refit,This is providing you found NO heavy surface damage after they were cleaned.Good luck

The spline on the driveshaft are at the end of their life.
The splines on the final drive look OK. I believe that the splines on the FD are harder than the ones on the driveshaft and they don't wear as much.
Don't expect to ride more than 10k with this shaft.

When taking photos of splines, you want to get the top surface of the spline illuminated to show it's width as that is where the wear shows up best(or worst).
