Hi all.

I'm new to the whole BMW K ownership thing. I would like some help please.
I have a 1985 K100 and would like to fit K1200 wheels to it.
So far I have the following:

Front 3.5 x 17" K1200 wheel.
Rear 5.0 x 17" K1200 wheel.
Complete front end from a K1100RS with matching 20mm master cylinder/ throttle.

I would like some advice on how to fit the the front wheel from the K1200 to the K100RS forks. As far as I'm aware a new front wheel spindle is needed. Does anyone have any details of how to do this. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks

Carl

Use the google search on the portal tab - there are some excellent articles on fitting k1200 5 spokes, All you need to know regarding discs bearing spacers etc.

I'm now on my 4th K1200RS wheel > K1100 fork conversion.

Due to all the interest I'm getting my machine shop guy to make a batch of 10. Makes it cheaper per unit ..... any interest ? £95 complete with all spacers etc. Straight bolt on job.
