I need a retainer tab (the end "tumbler") that keeps a 1985 - 1995 K bike lock cylinder in its place on saddlebag locks. One of mine has wandered off from one of the K bike saddlebags. FYI - I still have the little tab spring which goes under the retainer tab. Anyone willing to part with a spare lock cylinder retainer tab pls PM me. Thanks in advance!

Got a Beemer dealer nearby? When I worked at various shops in the Pacific NW and Australia, we kept a coupla trays of tumblers for both single side and double sided keys. We keyed every pannier, topbox, petrol cap and other lockable OEM accessory available, right at the parts department counter. I dunno what a local BMW dealer would do beyond my own experience, but we handed them out no charge to those who wished to fiddle with their own lock cylinders.

Are you in a hurry?  I have some side cases here that have odd lock cylinders in them, and I need to remove them and install the locks that go with the bike.  I might be able to send you something next week.

Bob's BMW is about 40 miles away... your idea is a Plan B for me.

Thanks!

I have a really good local locksmith who replaced a missing locking tab. Alternatively remove an intact barrel and copy the tab.
Regards Martin.
