Anyone up for a run out to Crow’s Nest during this coming week? Perhaps Wed/Thurs? I was thinking a half day out, maybe via Moggil/Fernvale/Esk/Lake Persevearance/Crow’s Nest with time permitting lunch at the bike cafe at Cooyar (open Thurs)

Another delightful day out with the local K Kluster, in all there were 4 K’s, Mick’s RS, mine, Paul’s LT & Darryn’s naked LT. 

After battling the shocking Brisbane traffic (my bad, daft place to kick it off ) & gloomy clouds gathering we headed out for a coffee stop at Fernvale via Kenmore/Mt.Crosby/Pine Mountain, after steaming it out in the city traffic it seemed quite “brisk” in temp. Next up was a run up the road to Esk past Wivenhoe, then out towards Crow’s Nest via Esk-Hampton & Lake Perseverance for a quick pic or two (saw a Chinook too....)














After a quick stretch it was time for a nibble at the thriving metropolis of Crow’s Nest. 

Time to head back home & fuel up by pretty much the same route, this time heading North towards Kilcoy via a short cut (Gregor’s Creek) where Mick & Paul parted ways and headed home via the highway and the other pair of us had a leisurely run over Mt.Mee and back home via Dayboro, what a delight mid-week with no traffic. 

All up my Odo showed about 370-odd KM for the day’s outing, with nothing falling off any of the K’s (I think...)

All 4 old K's pulled hard and didn't miss a beat..Other than the odd dead roo, branch or rock, good fun empty roads....Nothing like thinking you're giving it a bit around some bends, only to look up and see the bloke in front of you leaning further and pulling away fast with one hand on his hip.....at least he wasn't rolling a smoke

Wow great write up  and a little bit envious that you all managed to get a ride in Dan, Mick  you will need to do this run again soon for those that could not make it. 

But I'm not sure who this Mick is that  writes  " giving it a bit around some bends"  has he been corrupted to the dark side
