That's um? That's um Psycodelic or maybe Tecknodelic I don't know, but it's out there.
Perhaps invented after some limited "Slip Differential Oil" was sampled.

Back in the '90s when I had a proper workshop I used to custom spray bikes for a very large consideration. That one's definately not my cup of tea but remembering the limited masking materials we had then, I can't help but admire the effort that went into it.

On August 11, 2017, that moto was posted on Motobrick from a Craigslist ad using the same photo.

I'd love to get that Pichler fairing in my garage.

Some 600 Wet or Dry and a quart or two of epoxy primer and we'd be off to the races.

Unfortunately, there is no room in the garage right now, especially since if I got it, I'd be sleeping out there with it!

As far as I know, there's the:
original BM RT / RS fairing,
the Picher,
the Krauser...

If the muffler is anything to go by, were any of the after market fairings any better than the original aerodynamically?

Just wondering

And while it's question time, is the early K100 (RT) frame the same as the later model RT frame?

The Pichler fairings certainly appear to be more aerodynamically sleek than the stock RT/LT "barn door" fairings.  The Pichler K75 that I owned for a while got noticeably better mileage than any of the other many K75s that I've owned.

Despite how low the top of the windscreen appears to be, it was also comfortable to ride at speed without a helmet. (Which thankfully is still legal in a good portion of the US.)

It also did really well at keeping me dry in thunderstorm downpour rains I rode it in. In hindsight, I probably should've kept it.

Frames and mounting brackets on RT/LTs never changed.  When the K1100LT came out the fairing was maybe an inch-plus forward of where it was on the earlier RT/LT bikes - probably done by BMW to provide a little more leg room.
