One glance at the close-up piccies and a quick squiz at Google maps show it's been parked near the ocean for a while. Vista, CA. Hmmmm, only a day ride/drive away from Tacoma, WA. Sunnier down there near San Diego, too. I've always liked the look of that rear drum set-up. I had an '87 K75 like that a while back. Good stuff. Nah, I don't need it. I'm tripping over stuff in the garage as it is. (In)decision made.

Last September I got down to Ventura in 18 hours, overnight, with a cold, roadside rest area snooze of about two hours. After three hours there picking up K bike spares, ate tacos at the beach, turned round, taking about the same time to get home. I slept 10 hours straight. Knackered was a mild description, but it was a good run.

But for a crapped out K75? Not a chance.
