Stop n Go.

Are you going to be using a Paralever trans & swingarm/final drive on the K75 along with these front end bitz?

Yes.
Also the bracket for the fairing from the K1100, electric windshield, and a radio.
Wheels gonna be K11LT.

Not sure wich parts I'm gonna use, will just paint everything Smile

I used to have a workshop like that: central heating, plenty of light, loads of power sockets, kitchen off to one side, bedroom up the stairs. It was brilliant! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

So, you keep coming across k-bike parts as you wander round this big house huh? nice Smile

Is this project being built from scratch, or a modification?

It started with this bugger following me home.
Thought a quicky fix and sell.
But the K devil set me up with 35 small and bigger problems.
Frame, tank and wiring was good, never mind the rest.
After a google-like search in my sheds and barns, found me a lot of spareparts.
Had my brainfart to make it the K75LT project while taking a dump, about the only place in the house where parts don't destract me Razz
In a moment I will pick up a K11 centerstand, then got all the parts mainly complete.

As I found with the Willy Wonka project over the lockdown it's great to have no deadline on a project and to just move it along as you feel and have time to think about elements.

You will probably go through several iterations before the final especillay on the body work. At least the frame and mechanical restoration progresses while you mull these over.

I have never ridden a  k75 with the full fairing but I'm a big fan of the practicalities of the RT/LT front end, especially with the electric screen.

Following with interest.!

Still collecting parts, altough have almost everything.
Decided the pegplates will also come from the K11.

Are you swapping the gearbox, or keeping the '75 gearbox and drilling the front mounting lugs for the paralever torque arm?

I only ask because I've done that myself - the lugs are easy enough to drill, but they also need machining for the correct gap to take the torque arm front bush (which I didn't realise). I couldn't fit the gearbox on my milling machine so I did it with a combination of dremel and by hand. Takes a bit of time because you want the gap as accurate as possible to prevent twisting/weakening of the lugs when you tighten the bolt. How good are you with a file?  Very Happy and how good are your eyes? - have you been to Barnard Castle lately?  Very Happy Very Happy*

*that's a topical english joke, sorry, but your english swearing is so impressive (I've read your posts) that your pan-european intellect indicates that you might have an awareness of some of the idiocy in this country at the moment.

Back on topic: by next week I'll have ridden my paralevered K75 over a good few bumps and I'll report for your info if the logs have snapped off.

Hope my drill-skills are still good when I start with that part of the project.
I guess it will not depend on the tools, they're plenty and good Cool
Been around the block, I noticed work give better results to have a tinny after job done than before Razz

We are the lucky ones with an "intelligent" lockdown, for me it means I can ride, and bikes coming in for repair.
Also had time to find parts for the project. Still, didn't have time to start up drunken
Even dunno the color (scheme) for the bike yet.
After a tryout it's deffo not gonna be this, altough I might wanna do something with the second glitterspray, wich I sprayed over the glossy purple;

Hope to read about your adventures with the paralever.
Not the paramedics Razz

Almost have all the parts, except a transaxle (K11) and rear crashbars (K11).

Still, bikes coming in for repairs, got a K75S with RT fairing from Belgium in the shed, full service, new tyres and a general checkup,

In between came this little German, 50 years young, last 20 years been in a shed.
Engine needed overhaul, so I did.
Almost ready to go now Smile

Very cool Arlina!  I had meant to ask you if you worked exclusively on K bikes or covered other makes/models as well?
