Hello,

My name is Carlos, and I live in Arlington VA, USA and just bought a wonderful not starting BMW K100 Smile

I always want to do a project bike, so why not with a flying brick Smile Not sure if kind of cafe or just remove some fairings, time will say.. but for now, I need to make it starts and see what else needs... the owner just told me fuel hoses, kind of try to start, but who knows...

The fun fact... I don’t know too much about mechanical so... its time to learn and I am counting with your support to make it happens!! 🙄

If anyone is close to the area I have another motorcycle so if the weather clears sometime during the winter, I am open go for a ride.

K100RS (K589)
Produced: 08/86
USA

Welcome Carlos!

There are at least two more active K riders here in Arlington, the smallest-sized county of the USA... myself with a K75 and a K100RS+hack, and my friend with a K75. We're both in central Arlington, off Glebe Road. Pls let me know what I (we) can help with to get you rolling.

Thanks! I am close to Ballston metro station, for now... I can join the ride with my other motorcycle Smile

I have spent a lot of time checking things and replacing some parts that the previous owner had. And I am preparing a post to try to get it working.
