If you're looking for additional light on the road rather than just trying to make yourself more conspicious, you're into Denali territory and they're expensive.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Denali-DM-LED-Light-Kit-Motorcycle-TriOptic-Lights-with-DataDim-Technology/383747290265?epid=28042965903&hash=item59591ef499:g:Tm8AAOSwAmJfdgEu

I've also used these:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Set-of-High-Dipped-Beam-Hella-50mm-Headlights-Kit-car-Caterham-Westfield-Dax/361932599792?hash=item5444dd31f0:g:XqcAAOSwDwNeYO3r

but you're into making your own mounts which isn't the easiest job in the world.

Hella's Powersports brochure is also worth a look but you need to find a dealer:

https://www.hella.com/powersports/en/index.html

The Micro- series come with mounting brackets and both BMW and Guzzi use them as OEM.

Thanks very much, using the LEDs for conspicuity looks the best option.
If the heated grips rocker is already in use then a fourth switch is needed, so swapping the dash with an LT could be a neat solution.
Or perhaps repurposing the ABS switch so it serves two functions.

There are compact 10w LED driving lights on eBay for very good prices.  I paid $20 a pair for mine.  I mount them under the chin of the fairing below the headlight.  10W makes a brilliant light for a negligible 0.8 amps.  I've been told that my lights are visible from well over two miles away in daylight.  At night they add to the beam of the headlight, but you have to be careful about blinding oncoming drivers.

If you don't have the "official" BMW rocker switch, it's easy enough to find a spot for a waterproof toggle switch.  I use a single pole, double throw, center off switch tied into 12v in one position and the headlight high beam for the other position.  This allows for the driving lights to be on all the time in daylight(the 12v position) or only when the high beam is on at night.  The center position lets me turn them off if necessary.Aux lights Dscn2915

There are marine switches available that are IP54 rated (water ingress resistant) and fit the openings on the BMW dash.  Check the Carling Contura Rocker Switches available from Eastern Beaver .

I really like the kit I’ve bought from EB and a 25 USD rocker switch probably won’t break the bank but be aware that importing stuff into the UK from Japan can incur some, part or all (the rules do seem inconsistently applied) of the following:

UK import duty;
VAT;
Royal Mail handling charge.

Allow for an additional 25% cost over advertised shipping and handling to be levied in the UK as a pre condition for delivery.

If you’re an electrics novice like me, The EB site is like Aladdin’s cave and it’s not hard to rack up an unexpected hundred quid by the Revenuers...

That being said; you do get to do fun stuff like this tho:

I bought these cheap lights from ebay, with switch:

https://www.ebay.de/itm/Pair-Motorcycle-Headlight-Spot-Fog-Lights-6-LED-Front-Head-Lamp-12V-85V-10W-ATV/264048591048?hash=item3d7a85c0c8:g:FacAAOSwl7db8h7B

Small efficient white light. I use it last 3 years. Good as foglights and as daylight. It save the battery in city stop and go regime. I mount it on RT frame same way like on Point Seven Five bike on picture above.

I just completely misread that as 'Fog Daaamm'.

Which sounds a lot like what I kept saying trying to match everthing to the correct switches.
