I've been using this site for a while now and I have to thank you all for some great information.
I bought my K new in 1989, both of us are starting to look a little old and tired, but hopefully with a little more advice from you guys I'll be able to bring her back to her former glory.

Hi Geoff, Welcome sounds like a good start to me, after all you know were she's been and what she's done.

Thanks for the welcome guys, I've been fixing her up for a while now. no more ABS warning lights flashing at me thanks to Tabu Tosi in Japan fixing my computer. I've replaced the radiator fan and gear selector, and eventually I'll have a new spray job.

Hi Geoff
Great you have owned your K for so long. It has obviously served you well.

We should probably organise a Sydney get together when the world is back to "normal" 😊

That would be great Michael, I haven't seen another K in Sydney for years. Are there many around here

To tell you the truth I don't know. I have met a few but maybe some have moved on.

Let's see how many show up here in your thread, then we can try to muster a few together when this Covid thing is beaten. Might be more than a few weeks though

Thanks Bad Boy,
That's a wild looking bike you've got there, what stops you from tipping when you stop?

Hello from The USA!
It’s really cool to be with the presence of so many creatives. Certainly look forward to yelping about the cherry ‘87 K100rs with 21,500 miles on the clock purchased from Canadian soil. Still waiting on the tags from the bureau going on my 4th week. Super clean except for a leak dripping from the oil filter cover which I’ve traced back up to the bead around the pan gasket. Want to sort since I’ve got the time before claiming that I don’t have the time ;-) !
