1993 k1100rs brake system repairs done include...
New master cylinders front and back. Steel brake lines, pads and rotors, front abs pulse sensor. Successful bleeding(no spongy feel). Brakes work very well. Have not replaced the rear pulse sensor. Tried resetting the fault light. All rear bulbs working. Can't get the red triangle telltale to go out. Any suggestions on what to do next. trying to avoid the dealer. Handy with a wrench, not so confident on electrical issues but willing to learn. Please help!!! I want to ride without that triangle staring at me!

Red triangle? That sounds like the bulb monitoring unit to me. The ABS warning light is on the speedo face. If it is the BMU, check:

- pilot light (small bulb at the front)
- tail light
- brakes (operate each lever separately until the brake light comes on)

You say the brake light works. Take the bulbs out and check for corrosion on the bulb bodies. This can give a high enough resistance to fool the BMU into thinking that the bulb is faulty. The usual culprit is the rear brake switch down there in shit-catching territory, but you say you've eliminated that?

As far as I know 93 K1100 is ABS1?

If ABS 2 the triangle has no connection to the ABS.

But ABS1 does? If so does it flash? I thought solid meant bulb fail and flash meant ABS?

But a revisit of all bulbs working is advised. Check both front AND rear brake activate the brake light. If only one of them does so, the non functioning brake switch is your fault.
