Ok guys so I'm having a lot of issues getting a moto gadget miniscope to work. Well the speedo I mean.
When i start it it reads 0, if I spin the wheel manually i get nothing. If i rev it i get random speeds whether I'm riding it or not. I was doing 789mph yesterday so it's pretty quick for a K

Congrats to the OP on digging up that old thread. I found it myself when fitting an aftermarket dash and it improved my electrical knowledge by about a million percent (what's one million times zero, oh well). I've had it saved in my bookmarks ever since.

Thing is H0msey, you're not giving us much to go on. How about starting a new topic and detailing exactly how you've wired things in. We've had this 'engine revs affect the speedo' thing before...

Cheers
chris

....from memory (barely functional these days) I think the culprit was a break/poor connection in the wiring from the speedo sensor (common fault). This was causing the good wire to act like an aerial and pick up ignition noise.

That could be true, or it could be a dream I had. Hard to tell these days.
