Hey, I need some help identifying this k100 model. The VIN on the frame indicates it's a 1988 BMW K100RS ABS but I don't believe it has any ABS. I've attempted to compare it to other 1988 K100s but something just seems off about it. I have attached a photo of the bike. Thank you in advance

Hey, youngthug. Take a photo at seat height of each side of the moto, preferably when on its centerstand, then post those.

Unfortunately the bike is mostly disassembled at the moment. Do you know if there is a VIN on the engine I can compare to?

Unless they were removed by the previous owner, you would have found these on an '88 K100 with ABS.

Post a photo of the seat and tail cowl.

Follow that link, post the last seven digits of the frame VIN (not the engine number) and I will see what BMW say which options it was built with.
