Hi All, Looking at a first venture into the K100 range, more like the older 80's models! I live in Mallorca and have owned various air heads before and loved riding all of them. The K range has interested me for sometime and having just sold my 87 R100 RS, I'm thinking of giving the K model a try.
Current bikes are, a 85 Kawasaki GPZ 600, a 86 Honda CB450s and a Aprilia scooter as a hack!
Not interested changing any bike into a cafe racer, tracker or a bob whatever! Just prefer riding them!
Regards Busby

Hi and welcome.

Good luck finding a bike to suit your needs. Best to find one that has been ridden and maintained as K bikes that have been stored and neglected can cause problems. But nothing is too hard, a neglected but complete bike at the right price is OK too.
I have both an Airhead R65 and a couple of K100. Although the two types are very different they are still BMW. You would soon feel at home on them. Maybe the K75 would be a logical step from the R80 too so see what you can find.

Good luck!

Welcome to the forum.
Wonderful memories of my Honeymoon spent in Palma de Majorca many years ago.
Maybe there is a good one stowed away in one of those marvelous caves on the island!
