Dave from Sydney Australia.

Bought my K75 about a year ago, with plans to fix it up as a covid project. I'm pretty new to bikes, only doing general maintenance on my current daily, a 1981 Kawasaki KZ750.  I've wanted to do a project bike for a long while now, and decided on the K series a few years ago when I first saw some being done with the twisted brothers seat. Loving these forums and the wealth of knowledge shared, I swear I wouldn't be able to do a fraction of what I have without them.

Bought the bike cheap with an undiagnosed driveline problem, previous owner said it just went bang and he's never had the time to fix it. I assumed it was the splines, but ended up getting to the clutch before I found the problem, splines were actually in really good condition everywhere. Have done the rear main seal while I was in there, and trying to address as much as I can as I put it back together, which it definitely needs. It seems like there's an issue with everything on this bike, but I'm learning a lot, and enjoying getting my hands dirty.

Currently dealing with the clutch pushrod seal, so I'll be hitting up the forums for help soon...

Thanks for the welcome guys.

Already hit up the forums, and Rick G has been a great help with the pushrod seal. I'd be lost without it.

Good luck with your project, it will be a great machine when you're done.  I've had a '94 K75RT since 2014 and put 45,000 miles on it(it's a couple hundred miles short of 100K now).  It's a great machine for chasing the horizon, I've been to about 43 states and five Canadian provinces with it so far.
