Heya everyone, thanks for the add and happy to be here! Just recently picked up a dream bike of mine, 1985 BMW K100. Been wanting an 80s BMW to cafe for at least 8 years and just stumbled across an abandoned project locally for cheap. Had almost everything with it to get it running, just waiting on a couple small parts to verify it runs well before getting the fun bits for it. Look forward to exploring the forums and checking out some builds!

A good buy but remember there is a change in 1985. Has yours a bolted on gas tank? If it has its early 85, if not then it's the later model.

Not sure which mine has, I know it has a single spot to the back of the tank for a bolt. Then on the front has two notches for rubber grommets mounted on the frame.
