Hey Guys,

Just curious as my bike is modified using original switch the positions of what they do.

Mine seems to have 4 positions.
1 - off
2 - power
3 - off (doesn’t click into this spot really)
4 - power

2 & 4 seem to do the same thing where there’s power to blinkers, horn and will start the bike.

Curious to know if a standard bike is the same and more so if 2 & 4 are identical ? Seems odd.

It's possible someone has re-soldered the wires underneath as I can't think of any other way to get that combination. Also; your third position is probably just wear in the brass contacts.

Yep that’s what I’m thinking where who ever modified the bike prior to my ownership has made position 2 & 4 identical instead of how it should
Have been in diagram displayed by the post above.

Position 3 as you said just feel like wear you’re right !

Pull the ignition switch and check underneath - the pins are numbered. It should be:

Red - 30
Green - 15
Slate (grey) - 58A
Slate/blue - 58E
