Good afternoon all, just a little hello and introduction.
I finally got my K100 LT on the road recently after having it sit in my shed for years. Been almost 3 decades since I was biking, but have decided to scratch the itch again.
I have been out on it twice so far and everything seems fine, but I had a niggle in my head regarding lubing of the splines. I started dismantling it at the weekend and am now waiting for some spline lube coming, hopefully have it this weekend.

Hopefully it won’t take me years to put it all back together.

Yeah, I have most of it apart. Haven’t removed the transmission as yet. Took my time this morning getting the exhaust nuts off. Plenty of plusgas and worked them all back and forth. None snapped, so happy so far.

A belated welKome. I s'pose it would be a strange taste having just pulled a finger after a 3 decade itch.
Cool

I agree they are something special to ride, even if you eliminate all thoughts of comparison to other brands and models. They are truly unique, solid and steady.

But I did find it odd that none of the cheekier members here didn't first triangulate your Intro post into a well-intentioned laff before me.

They were maybe just giving me time to settle in. Too many people are easily offended nowadays, for some reason.
