Hello all, I've come across this forum a time or two so decided to join and say hi.  Currently have an 85 K100 project and a good running 93 K1100.  The K100 was picked up as a non runner with an oil leak.  Got her running and have decided to a full custom rebuild.  Currently working on swapping an R1200C swing arm and final drive before doing frame work and engine rebuild.  I know there are some purists that won't appreciate the work, but I'll do my best to post some pictures for those that do.  Cheers, and thanks for the help in the past.

I used to consider this solution before...
How is the rear wheel aligment with the front?

The rear is off center by about 5mm, I'm planning on adding a spacer.  The real hurdle is the u-joint, I'm swapping the flange yoke from the K100 over to the driveshaft of the 1200 but they use different size u-joints.  Think I found a solution, but won't know for sure until it arrives.
