Can someone with knowledge check theirs and compare to mine? Many thanks!

Here are the pins on mine that are blank: 4, 6, 7, 14, 23, 24, 27, 30, 33-35 (11 pins)

Reference for '92 K100RS4V shows these blank: 4, 6, 7, 11, 14, 23, 27, 28, 30, 33-35 (12 pins)
Reference for '93 K1100 shows these blank: 4, 6, 7, 11, 23, 30, 33-35 (9 pins)

K1100 is different because is has a cat converter while the RS4V does not.

Duck,

Many thanks for the quick reply! Are you confirming that my connector is pinned correctly? If so, I'd love to find the resource showing where all pins are wired. I think I've looked at every pdf and jpg on this site and could not come across that resource.

For a bike with a cat pin 24 goes to the oxygen sensor so it makes sense that is missing on a non-cat bike.

In your Reference for '92 K100RS4V   above are you sure that 28 is blank?

But....honestly...I'm just asking if mine is pinned correctly...that's all. The harness on mine has been modified/redone and I just want to ensure the previous owner hasn't goofed up the pinout for some strange reason. A previous owner had jerry-rigged so much other stuff I've had to fix...I just didn't want to continue without verifying the pinout of the connector.

Would still love it if someone could verify my connector is pinned correctly and would also love a resource showing where pins go.

Attached are diagrams of the Motronic 2.1 and 2.2 plug connectors taken from a link on this page containing BMW's Level 2 Motronic diagnosis manual based on the use of BMW's propriety tester. The Motronic 2.1/2.2 training manual is downloadable from a link at this page.

This situation has certain earmarks of a ONI distraction. I was thinking old habits are hard to break. Laughing

What? Had to look this up.

In the context of the video game "Dead by Daylight," an "Oni distraction" refers to a tactic where a Survivor deliberately injures themselves to attract the attention of the Oni Killer, a powerful demon-like entity, allowing other Survivors to escape or complete objectives while the O

Is there a reason you asked this question? And how on earth does this relate? I just don’t see where we’re going with this. Did you eat some tainted turkey on turkey day? Ha ha.

Sorry for stepping on your toes. There is a saying that if one does not ask questions one remains stupid. I do not know you or your background so I just asked a simple question because:

Assumption - is foolish
Trust          - is good
Check        - is better

So, I was just checking because the bike you are enquiring about is not the one in the pic and there is no mention of a 1991 K100RS 4V in your signature. Dis al  Very Happy
