Hello

I got a flat tyre beginning of the week and so I had to take the wheel off, get it fixed and I put it back on no problem. So I thought.
When I went to test ride it, the red alert triangle on the dash wouldn't go out like normal, and the back light wouldn't work when I was breaking front or back..
So. I disconnected the battery for about 5 minutes, reconnected everything and the brake light works absolutely fine.

But the red triangle warning light is still not going out.
What have I done wrong? The bike runs perfectly fine, the breaks are fine.  Does anyone have any experience with this?

Thank you

Because the circuit for the brakes became open circuit, the bulb monitor light came on to warn you that the brake lights won't work.

If riding at night with the lights on and the tail light circuit becomes open circuit, again the bulb monitor light will instantly come on to warn you that the tail light is off.

One thing both lights have in common is an earth wire. Maybe the tail cowl copped a bang with replacing the rear wheel. If the tail light is out, remove the rear light, remove the earth contacts, give them a scrub and good clean with some electrical contact cleaner. While in there, give all the contacts a good clean. Button it all up again. That might fix it.

Thank you very much for that advice.
I really appreciate it.
I will do just that and hopefully it is just a bit of dirty connection.

Prolly should work out if it's breaks or brakes first of all.
