1 ABS Warning Light and other, related stuff... Wed Jan 01, 2025 2:20 am

Hi All,
This is part of a much-longer story, but where I have ended up in the latest installment is that my ABS light is full on (1992 K75ABS) and won’t go off.
Thought, please? Reset again? I got a 12v test light and have tried testing the system by using the blue plug on the right side of the bike, but I don't get ANY blinking light in the tester...
I can re-tell the whole story, but don't want to bore anyone. This all started when I tried to re-set the system after replacing the rear brake light bulb. The red warning light above the neutral light will go off after riding for a few minutes, but the ABS isn't working and the light is full on.
I KNOW that the ABS module is still working because it just seems coincidental to me that it would fail at exactly the same time as the attempted re-set. Unless the re-set burned the system up in some way.
The bike stops fine, but I know the ABS is not currently engaging.
Would a faulty rear brake switch cause this?
Thanks all! I've SCOURED every post I can find, so I am only asking because I can't seem to get the tester to blink even once, so I don't know if that's a symptom or a cause...
