Yes - an actual easy fix that doesn't involve glue! OR DUCT TAPE!!!!
You'll need a roll of self-amalgamating tape (self-vulcanising tape), some brake cleaner or rubbing alcohol and the mirror that's giving you the stick.
Remove the mirror from the pod - check the method because some mirrors have a securing pin but others (like these) just need a good slam down on a folded towel. Clean the ball and the socket squeaky clean with the brake cleaner/alcohol.
Cut a piece of tape between 30 and 35mm long. Stretch it to about 150mm to activate it and then roll it up into a rough ball. Drop the rubber ball into the recess in the centre of the mirror socket - it should stick up by a couple of mm or so.
You'll have to put the pod on the mirror rather than fitting the mirror to the pod so you don't lose the rubber ball. Push the mirror in with your thumbs - it won't go click but you will feel the ball go into the socket. That's it - job done. No more floppy mirror.
The rubber ball you made from the tape will start to cure into shape within the ball and socket joint. Within a few hours it will look like this:-
What you've done is to make a rubber friction block inside the socket. Which reminds me - I need to buy another roll of self-amalgamating tape.
