I finally started tearing apart my 94 K75 and the first modification was to replace the turn signal bulbs with LEDs. Of course I got the dreaded hyperflash so followed Ducks’ tutorial on modifying the relay to eliminate the hyperflash. I already had the tank off so was able to access the relay box at the back under the tank. My relay box was the newer black one and no problem getting it out. For the life of me, i couldnt see a way to get inside it. It appeared to be seamless with no assembly cracks etc. So I contacted Duck and he said “attack it with a screwdriver”. So I started poking and prodding and turns out the end you can see in the picture is covered in a very thin film of rubber. It looks seamless but the rubber peeled right off. Duck said they usually have epoxy or goo on the end but those must be the ones that have already been opened. I assume this is what they look like when factory sealed. After peeling the rubber off, the pin connector with computer board slides right out. I completed Ducks reccommended steps and reassembled. Voila! No more hyperflash and my turnsignals are brilliant. Only downside is now I owe Duck 2 beers because I doubted him for a second.
