With the forum discount came to £218.40 with next day delivery im hoping it lives up to its promise as my bike is great but the rear shock is like riding a pogo stick Sad

The original, whether a Nivomat or the coil-over standard shockie have only one adjustment, that of spring preload, so the with the Ram you'll have a myriad of adjustment choices and the bike will feel (tyre condition and pressure, steering and swingarm head bearings properly adjusted) feel as if it's on rails in comparo.

I know someone who tested the RAMs and he is a very knowledgable guy and one of the craziest K-drivers I know, so he has very high standards. According to his judgement there is no better and if it wasn't for the tough regulations in Germany, making live hard (and expensive) for after market parts, I would have gotten one long time ago...

I'm waiting for mine to arrive, too. Ordered the short one 3 days ago, and according to UPS it will arrive here in Norway on wednesday. But it is still to much snow here for biking, so I have to wait a few weeks to test it. But the price was good, and I'm sure it is much better than the 25 years old shoch sitting on the bike now. bounce

Keep us posted on the shock because I am in the market for one for the K1100 and I have been having many rear pocket explosions when I see the prices.

Now, the RAM shock is on the bike. Took me about 20 minutes! It's still 100 cm snow here in Norway, so I have not tried/tested it yet. But so fare I can say that with the lower shock, the angel of the sidestand is much better. I think I'm going to lower the front fork 1,5 cm too, and that will even better! And it wasn't more difficult to get the bike on the mainstand. Hope that spring is comming soon!
