Hi all,

My name is Brad and I'm another K100 owner (finest year, '85!) from just north of Seattle. Been trolling for a while and this looks like a great community. Looking to dig into some issues with the bike here soon so I'm sure I'll be looking for some advice in no time Wink

best,
Brad

Welcome Brad.
I won't comment about the '85 being the finest year, I'll wait for someone else to bite!
Bring on the questions.

Welcome my friend. You are of course correct, the 85 is the marque, all else,
well just minor refinements really. Some say that later models don't even smoke after being left on the sidestand. That's like owning an Alpha Spider that all the electrics work on. Where's the fun...
Keep your head down this weekend you guys over the pond, be safe.

Greetings Brad. Seems like Seattle is becoming a good K spot lately. I was in Bellingham yesterday on my R bike. (My wife was with me, she prefers that one.)

LOL, RT, you'd better have a look at the map if you're concerned about Seattle gettin' whacked by Irene. The worst weather they get up there is the annual long and slow rain festival which lasts from September to May, often pushes in to June, a little bit of July, and sometimes August too. Wink

Welcome to the forum, Brad. Seattle/Tacoma are both great places. I spent about five years up there in that region. I lived in Fremont and then Sumner - talk about polar opposite communities! Two terrific dealers too, Ride West in Seattle and South Sound in Fife. Heaps of good riding roads in the Cascades and plenty of like-minded company too.

Cheers.
