Good morning all, lovely day, rain has set in got an unusual lul in workload, got a shed fridge full of cold beer and an afternoon to myself. Living the dream.
Anyway, I have been asked if there is a difference between the lt and rt seats, as I don't know, I opted to throw it open to the repository of all k bike related knowledge here. Anyone know?
I know from experience the 85 luxury seat imported from the states at great expense wont fit my 88 rt. But how bout same year rt and lt?
Thanks
N.

The LT usually had the comfort seat where the RT the bench seat and it was exactly that a wooden bench but it wasn't quite as soft.
They are interchangeable, the hinges are the same.

Is there any way i can get the 85 seat that Bean has to fit my 91LT. I sent Bean a pm asking him if he knew the differences. from the little bit of research i've done its to do with the rear cowl.

If i could get it to fit I'd buy his luxury seat and i'd have a spare LT seat that might fit his RT. Problem i'm having is the comfort seat pushes me forward making my knees hit the fairing. Must have been built for shorter legs seat interchangability 610153

Well I have a fibreglass replica of the early ductail that you can have providing you buy a six pack and drink them with me when you come uo to get it.
I am not 100% sure that it will fit but I reckon it would do the job.
