What was the original finish on the wheels on the 1985 K100RS models? Bare alloy? Painted silver, or clear coat? Something else (can't imagine)?

They were a painted silver but I don't know anybody that has replicated the paint.
I dare say that someone will now bounce in telling us all about it including the paint code.
Some of the special edition RSs were produced with black wheels. They can be powdercoated in silver but be wary as the silver tends to run away from sharp corners which can leave some edges exposed to corosion.
