The Fastrac gas stations in New York State are now carrying Ethanol free premium 91 octane gasoline. There are Fastrac stations in other states, so maybe members there can see if it applies there too. Here's a link to the locations of those in NYS.

The good news is, I no longer have senior moments. The bad news is, now it's a constant state of mind.

At least here in Oz we can still get ethanol free fuel at most places still but it is slowly closing in.
I live in hope that the stupid politians will realize just how much it actually costs to save so much money.

All petrol, regardless of octane rating, here in Washington state, by law must have a percentage of corn-based ethanol in it. The trouble is that with the US' nasty drought so far this Summer there's not enough corn surviving to be able to produce the required-by-law amount, and to feed the cattle to grow the billion burgers, or as it relates to human-edible corn and the space required to grow it, feed the human masses their necessary maize. Prices worldwide will rise. The US has done the ethanol thing in part to reduce its dependence upon 'foreign-supplied' energy, and in that drive for independence is affecting the world's traditional corn supply, so the situation is more complicated than just what ethanol fuel eventually does to our fuel pumps, etc. That's one massive farmbelt/agribusiness lobbying effort down in the halls of congress. Them's what's got the gold is still makin' up the rules.
