The K bike of course!
I do like the twins, but I also do own an '85 K100Rt ex police.

Nice "collection" ( If you can call 2 a collection)
The K bike is my favorite, but I won't mind having the R bike as well. But in Denmark, a bike like that cost more than €31000, our taxes on bikes are insane.
And that is too much for me.

This will seem an odd question but could I get K100 police bike front seat and get a rear back matching seat for my K100 RT 1985, I want separate seats to so I can fit a front back rest for my aching bones on long runs. I have acquired a good back box I can fix a back cushion and armrest if need be for the misses but for myself I would like a back rest. Is my idea possible, if anyone has a tatty ripped police front seat going spare I would be interested in buying it to maybe get recovered and take measurements to get a matching back seat made. Any feedback good or bad is welcome I'm thick skinned don't be bashful lol.

I think Motorworks can sell you the front seat in good order, they are readily available because so many convert from ex police back to dual seat.

Another possibility is to search a used (or new) Corbin touring seat.
These seats is prepared for mounting Corbin's own backrest.
But they are hard as a rock in my opinion + $$$$$$$...compared to used police seat.

Corbin.

Alan, stick something on the current seat similar in size to the back rest you are thinking of, then try to get on and off the bike. I think you wil find it is almost impossible to swing your leg over

Just a thought.

thanks again Olaf, you have came to my service again with more useful advice they have a single seat for 30 quid and I've sent an email to enquire about a rear seat to match the front. I'll wait a couple days then start with the pestering phone calls lol
