Halo is up to visit family in Mittagong for the Christmas-New Year gap and a meeting is being arranged.
It was suggested to Halo he brings his helmet along 'just in case'
Well Halo agreed.
And he will put it in the bike trailer he has hired to bring up his rs RS (not the good RS) SO WE CAN ALL GO FOR A RIDE.
WOOHOO.
RT, tell the mother in law you need more bike lifts.

Yes go for it Rossco and arrange the day with your magic just remember it would be good if we could end up drinking at Mittagong (just my thoughts to keep in with family seing me for at least for abit of the day)

Think we have to get RT on to it being the local.
If you met up with RT and I meet up with Klompy and head to the same spot, ride round a bit and back at Mittagong to refuel.

It's a plan allright. Problem for me is I won't drink at all before getting on me bike, so I will have to arrange some transport, no problem but will have to end the ride at Robbo then go back to Mittagong on 4 wheels. Plenty of beds here if needed.The best pub is called "the Top pub"which in fact it is not, but better than the other one.

And the other pub is called...." not the top pub"....looking forward to it...and I agree with you, not a fan of drinking and riding, mainly because my abilities would not improve...and bikes do look nicer shiny side up.

Hey Col. The 27th. Thursday probably stretching into Friday.

At the moment it looks like I will be bringing my youngest down to visit grandma who lives at Bowral.
Drop her off, coffee pleasantrees rhubarb rhubarb rhubarb then back to the (mitta)Gong to meet Mr K, Halo and RT.
Depending on what the plan is I may have to leave home extra early or if we just kick it off from Mittagong then I will head back there and off we go.
Then, depending on how the afternoon after the ride goes ( ) I will head back to Bowral and then Sydney on Friday.
As tasty as staying at RT's place sounds, what with grandkids and mothers in law and a sober wife, not to mention Mr K, heading out of town a bit is probably a good idea.
That's my plan.
My daughter loves the bike so may have to take a longer more twisty way home than the M7.

Short story.
Took her (miss 17) to buy a car yesterday. On the way home found the only twisty bits (all of 4 corners) and I could feel her leaning into the corners. Stopped at some lights and then took off and did a hard right.
When we got home I asked her if she noticed the footpeg scraping when we went round the corner. She said 'did it? I thought something fell off the bike'

Have fun guys would love to meet up just for excuse for a looooong ride (1300 klm) but I'll still be side lined so will be making vroom vroom noises in the garage again

Got the car. 2005 Barina. It's as close to a Holden as we could find.

Come up with a cunning plan and I am more than happy to accompany you to and from Mittagong/Bowral the added bonus is I have just got back from a ride up north and the helmet cam with appropriate sound track was a great success....keen to get some more footage and a record of the daddy daughter moments is always cool for 21st etc later on....so standing by ...will meet you wherever, whenever...and give me some more practice.

Looks like the tent will be going up at the RT property tomorrow.

Enjoying the sunshine and the convenience of a McDonald's toilet.

Mr K and Halo have lots more pics, but Halo has crap internet for the next few days.

Just a quick point about Halo's zorst. Staintune same as Mr K's but twice as loud. Mr K has the hole in the back of the pipe flush with the end (or the little concave bit), but Halo has an extra bit of pipe sticking about an inch out the back and it makes a lot more noise. If him grinding his wrist round did not give away he was giving it a fistful the noise certainly did.

A good time was had by all I would like to thank RT & his wife(don't want to mention names) for opening there house to Rossco , Klompy & myself. At this stage we were still hopeful Col was alright as Rossco says. Thanks RT, Rossco & Klompy for showing me a good time up in NSW.
