Well, at 3.30 this afternoon I get a call from a bloke called Col.......cheeky as ever, explaining that he needs my help to wipe his bottom. He tells me that he will know about next Tuesday what and when he will need to have done......well done Col. I do have some photos of his bike but can't work out how to post them....will have it sorted soon.

I guess this is what happens when you give someone your phone number.

Thanks for letting us know Stan. I guess he was holding the phone with his goodthumb

I was in two minds wether to post these. Not sure they help anyone. I know Stan went out of his way to contact the towers and asked for the pics.
As I was typing I removed the links to the photos.
If anyone wants to see them they are HERE.

Reminds me of being in the Horsepiddle when I broke my femur. The consultant was doing the rounds as usual every Wednesday and he went to hold my leg and lift it where it was broken and I must have looked a bit apprehensive, he said I won't hurt you and with all the med students looking on I just about jumped 3 feet and let out a muffled yell, he then appologized and turned to face the students, who all immediately stopped smiling, and talked to them but with his back to me. That was when I gave a big wink, a smile and thumbs up. You should have seen those students trying to keep a straight face while I had a big grin.

Hey Col. Good Luck with your surgery. Good to see you are getting better quickly and it is great to see the rally of support. I am new to the forum, joined just before Xmas. But if I were you, I would be worried that your friends have your pijama Pics posted all over facebook. LOL Keep a chin up and hope you are riding again soon. Gotta get back on the horse, brother.

Col, make sure the docs operate on the right thing. We don't want you coming out of hospital with 11 or 12 fingers, or worst still, missing anything.
