must be a very big tool box....I feel that I carry at least 5 kilo of stuff every time I ride.....now if I had a side car imagine how many spares I could carry..lol

Had a look and not one hammer or shifter....WTF???...I kind of like it when a problem appears that there is someone who knows the answer on here...its like a huge game we can all play....have also found that diagnostics can be a bit tunnel visioned and may even give up after 2-3 possible faults eliminated...and they don't allow for old dodgy electrics.

I certainly wouldn't have thought with the old K oh I need to get the diagnostics out straight away as you say the wealth of information that is here that doesn't require splashing out £2000 and our bikes aren't like modern cars where you have a real diagnostics plug and a CAN network between all of the control modules!

I fully understand the dissapointment of not even 1 hammer thrown in! Sad

That thing would be tit useless for anything other than Motronic and later.
Besides, a GS911 code reader would take care of anything those newer models need and for a fraction of the cost. Nuh, this is no good for our earlier Mighty Ks.

It does sound as if the guy selling it has no idea what it is really used for apart from what he has looked at!

Don't get me wrong, it would be a cool addition to my garage but for that money I could buy 2 or 3 whole K's with enough spares for a lifetime! Maybe it would make sense for someone but not me.

I've just seen it re-listed at £500...still expensive for something that's not very useful for most of us!
