https://youtu.be/OWyXPdaNR9A Me [ajays] and the missus

I say I am still with it...!

I sold all 4 of my K bikes 75s/k100rs and from pressure of the family telling me I am too old now at 84.
I felt I had lost my right arm so have bought a K100rs much to the disgust of the family. My wife tells me she is going to buy a horse and keep it in my garage.
I hope the flack dies down....at least I now have my passion back.

When your family says "you're too old to ride a bike tell em to stick it in their fundamental and go for a ride. you are too old to ride when you decide to stop. Even if you only ride once or twice a month or year for that matter why not have a bike. There is always some to tinker with and keep you young at heart
I am just past 60 and I have had had family telling me that and I just pretend I'm deaf and ignore them.

P.S. Great idea, AJ go and buy her a horse.

Good on ya Ajays.

I'm off to to look at buying my fourth BM on Sunday. An airhead though.

Anyway a K-Bike is cheaper to run than a horse. Doesn't need to be fed and watered every day either.

Good on you Brother, I plan to be riding when I am 84, although after competing yesterday in four races over a long course for the first time I have ever been in a dragon boat I am knackered today and I am only 66! Still have to support SWMBO. As for horses the Vet bills would make you blench and horse by-products take a lot of shovelling.
Yours fraternally,

Great vid Ajays, a true tribute to any age, I laughed the whole way through.
We had to put my wifes horse down a few years back, I got her straight into her licence , and now she rides my K to work, leaving her cruiser in the stable , only to come out for the social rides.
I still don't know who won out, but it beats horse feed bills and shovelling s@#t.
share your experiences and stay young .cheers santa

I think the classic part to this story is that your having terse discussions with the wife about buying a K at 84.

I say good on Ajay, most of us will be happy to remember where we put our slippers at 84 Smile

Keep up the inspiration, I like the video too Great stuff.

Cheers.

Ajay's - you must be one of jib jab's best customers santa The first video clip nearly made me choke with laughter.

My Dad sold his Velocette a few weeks ago, at 85 he claims..."I'm not getting half the exercise since I bought that thing!" So he's traded it for a 15 speed hybrid Bicycle and recently completed a 50k cycle on it.

You're not too old until you think you are and you are correct in that thinking until nature proves you wrong!

Get your wife a pony and horsebox ( a horsebox is very useful for transporting a bike A Horse in my Kingdom 652573 )

NO SPEAKAH DE ENGLISH

A bus stops and 2 Italian men get on.

They sit down and engage in an animated conversation.

The lady sitting next to them ignores them at first,

But her attention is galvanized when she hears one of them say the following:

Emma come first.

Den I come.

Den two asses come together.

I come once-a-more! .

Two asses, they come together again.

I come again and pee twice.

Then I come one lasta time.'

The lady can't take this anymore,

"You foul- mouthed sex obsessed pig!"

She retorted indignantly.

'In this country, we don't speak aloud in public places about our sex lives!"

'Hey, coola down lady,' said the man, 'Whooza talkin' about sex?

I'm a justa tellin' my frienda how to spell ' Mississippi '..

£5.00 says you're gonna read this again!

Best to you and yours, Ajays.
Great attitude.
Reminds me of mom.
Was running my built '74 Alfa Romeo GTV in local SCCA Solo II competition at age 76.
Was a pretty complete hoot.
No one gave a s**t. They all adopted her and vice versa.
She spent much time in post ww2 europe and had a refined driving style.
Fast...but smooth. Fun to ride with.
Well, anyway, is pretty neat to read your posts. That's a fine thing.

You know, I have been waiting to see how long it takes for you Guru's to notice there are RS mirrors missing.
I have fitted a pair on the bars similar to the 75s. The cost of replacing the originals is too much and I quite prefer the small indicators....I think I will leave as is.
